A good way to get an initial feel of any city is the hop-on, hop-off double decker bus.

 Woodbury Commons is like Disneyland for women. Store upon store of high end labels.

The High Line Park in Chelsea. A former LRT above ground turned park.

The Chelsea market has everything but nothing exceptional.
